The Myth About Unpolished Products

So here’s the strange scenario I have encountered recently with few customers. And I named the article as follows.

“The MYTH about unpolished products”

A customer gave me the order to manufacture a dining table, a large cot (bed) and a centre table.

Whenever a potential order comes through, I welcome it, I take it up with pride with the belief that the customer trusts my honesty and transparency.

Unfortunately (if I may) few days through the manufacturing process, the customer calls to advise me to hold up the polishing part.

I was like, “okay”. Although it was a strange encounter for me, but I have nothing to hide, so I obliged.

They came over and started verifying the products very suspiciously and even enquired with my carpenter and polisher about the authenticity of the wood.

(Note that I am a specialty timber merchant specialising in Rosewood timber and Rosewood furniture.)

Until then, it didn’t strike me, but I got it, I gathered the entire scenario. However, nothing suspicious or manipulative was discovered. They went out delighted and satisfied.

What I want to highlight or emphasise here is that I am not a CARPENTER, I am a MANUFACTURER. More boldly, I would like to state that I am the sole owner of the Rosewood timber, which makes it less likely for me to use lookalikes or substitutes in my manufacturing of Rosewood furniture.

I hope you get the point that I only use original Rosewood timber in all my furniture.  And this is an Ironclad guarantee from me.
