The Indian Laurel is a hardwood species that may be found across Asia’s southern regions. However, it is predominantly found in India and Myanmar, as the name suggests. It provides you with insect and rot resistance as well.
Wood Grain – The grain is usually straight, somewhat interlaced, or uneven in appearance. The texture is medium to gritty. Sections with interlocking or uneven grain are more challenging to work with, but they are generally straightforward. It has good turns and a good finish.
Colour – Variegates in colour from light to dark brown, with deeper, nearly black streaks. Sapwood is a delicate pinkish tint that distinguishes itself from heartwood

Teak has been recognized as a precious resource for a long time. Teak originates from the Tectona grandis tree, which is endemic to the tropics. It is obtained from the Jackfruit tree and is of the Laurel family in the flora category. Wood Grain – The wood of Jackwood is very easy to work with. This is possible due to its even-grained texture which gives it a very polished finish. This fine-grained wood is also highly immune to termite attacks, bacterial decay, and fungal decay and holds the credibility of a lifelong shine.
Colour – Jackwood has a very polished, shiny Golden yellow colour which complements the articles crafted out of this wood with a luxurious radiance and glow. Due to this, Jackwood is also effectively used to make musical instruments of excellent quality.
